Olukayode Okenla

Olukayode Okenla holds an LLB (Hons) and an LL.M in International and Commercial Law.

He is qualified to practice law in both Nigeria and England & Wales. He earned a Second Class Upper at the Nigerian Law School and has over three decades of practice.
He is an accomplished commercial and corporate lawyer and businessman.

Mr. Okenla featured among the first 600 Diaspora Icons, recognized by President Mohammed Buhari administration to celebrate successful Nigerians in Diaspora on the 60th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence.

He was part of a high-level delegation led by the British Minister for Africa to discuss British-Nigerian economic relations with President Goodluck Jonathan.
He is a founding partner and Head of the Commercial and African Desk at Simon Bethel Solicitors in London, with over 30 years of corporate and commercial legal experience.

He serves on the boards of several companies and charities and has received numerous awards.

Mr. Okenla is highly respected for his contributions to law and community development in Nigeria and UK and has mentored over 500 youths with work placements in his firm Simon Bethel Solicitors Limited London.
